At Zoar Baptist Church, it is our goal to minister Christ and the truths of God's Word to people of all ages.
All of our ministries have been designed to provide for the spiritual needs of your entire family.
Below you will find a list of all of our ministry activities and opportunities:
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Every Sunday Morning - 9:30AM
At ZBC we have Sunday School classes for children and adults of all ages. We would love to have your entire family join us as we study and learn more about God's Word together!
KIDS4TRUTH CLUBS
Every Wednesday Evening - 6:45 to 8:05PM
(Follows the Dawson-Bryant Local School District Schedule)
Kids4Truth is an incredible program that will teach your children the Doctrines of the Bible through motivational, memorable and meaningful lessons. Your child will learn what we believe and why we believe it in ways they won’t forget. There will be clubs for children three years of age to seniors in high school. At every meeting, the children have the opportunity to play a game, eat a snack, become engaged in a Bible lesson, and earn rewards for scripture memorization. LIFE GROUPS
Every Thursday at 7:00pm in the Church Parsonage
Life Groups are a growing ministry at Zoar Baptist Church because they create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. Currently, we have one life group that consists of 5-20 people from all walks of life and meets every Thursday at 7:00pm in the church parsonage. YOUTH GROUP
We believe that the teenage years are very important in developing a solid, Christ-centered life in our children. We have opportunities for teens in grades 7-12 to become active members of our church. Some of those opportunities include Church Camp, Winter Retreats, Lock-Ins, Concerts, In-Depth Bible Studies, and more! Along with being a part of our Sunday Morning and Evening Worship Services, our teens meet at 7:00PM on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall for Bible study.
MUSIC MINISTRY
God-honoring worship is something we strive for at Zoar Baptist Church. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir or the praise team. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. If you'd like to get involved in one of these areas of our music ministry please let us know!
VAN MINISTRY
Our church vans run every Sunday and Wednesday to bring people to Church. The bus ministry is a tremendous soul winning tool for Zoar Baptist Church. Each week boys, girls, men, and women are picked up at their homes and brought to the church. When they arrive, they are presented with the opportunity to hear sound Bible teaching and preaching. We currently have established van routes in the Ironton, Coal Grove, and Deering areas. If you are interested in riding one of our vans to church, please call us at (740) 532-0496 or (740) 534-8113.
